Harrison and I both passed our six-week visit with flying colors! This has been my fastest recovery by far, thanks to my placenta. I feel like I’m three or four months postpartum rather than six weeks. I was preparing myself for a difficult transition to three kids–everyone I talked to said it was the hardest number–but I think it was actually easier than my transition from one to two!
My midwife weighed Harrison and he’s now about 11 1/2 pounds. He’s starting to smile back at us and LOVES looking at faces. He sleeps like a champ at night, only waking to eat. We’re down to about 2 or 3 night feedings. He’s having trouble taking naps in his crib, but other than that, he’s such a wonderful baby! Here are a few pictures we’ve taken over the past few weeks:
Oh, those sweet tiny fingers and toes. Glad to hear you’re well. That quilt is so fun, and especially wonderful because grandma and aunt made it!
Cute smile!
