Newspaper Thief

Dear person-who-stole-my-newspapers,
That was not nice. I know I was on vacation and forgot to have someone collect my three Sunday papers, but that is no excuse. Stealing is wrong. Thanks to you, I didn’t get my coupons and missed a huge sale at Alberson’s today, along with my precious double coupons.
Please don’t steal my newspapers anymore.

I like this, but I think I probably would have put a note on the door or wherever the newspaper is. I would tell them something like “don’t steal my paper anymore…I’m watching you”. That might scare them off. But I’m drastic like that.
LOL. Nice. I like it. Just a thought, though. It may have been a neighbor trying to be thoughtful? It can be dangerous to leave papers out overnight because it alerts people that you aren’t home and they also can get in the way if they aren’t delivered to your doorstep. We always have the Kuehns (and they us) get stuff that’s left overnight on our door or doorstep. In fact, they forgot to stop their paper and we had to collect it for a whole month while they were in China. I’m sure they didn’t realize you’d want it. Ha ha. It sounds like it was me and I’m make an excuse, huh? :) It wasn’t but it’s just a thought. They may also still have it? Don’t know. Sorry your missed your great deals!
Bummer. Have you tried calling the paper and asking for replacements? I know you won’t get your doublers but at least you will have the inserts that you missed. Mine have been “picked up” by unknown persons before I just called and got new ones.
If I leave my Sunday paper laying out while we are at church, it gets taken. I get so ticked off! Sounds like our neighborhood has a newspaper thief!
